I’ve gotten so many questions on what it means to even be a creative director and honestly I think each creative director will tell you something different. But before we dive in, a thank you is a must!
THANK YOU!
I am just filled with gratitude as I look back over the years building my business! I have seen my business shift in so many directions. But the reason behind the gratefulness is because I have had people believing in my dreams, supporting and cheering me on and helping me pick up any of the fallen pieces. News flash: we all fail at something but that’s where growth comes in!
Now back to Creative Director stuff!
So as a creative director, my first job is to find what inspires you, what fuels you and where you want to be in both life and business. Then from there – we use these things to create a strategy that works for you and your audience! So many times we create, we launch, we strategize for our ideal customers that we forget about ourselves. We forget about what once fueled us and almost become robotic in tasks. Running your business doesn’t have to be that way. And honestly, it shouldn’t be that way if you want it to be sustainable.
So how do we get started?
First – A mindset shift! You have to have the desire to grow your business and connect to your true audience. But before you can do that YOU must dig into the hard work and know that this is what your brand stands for, this change is sustainable for the life you want to live, and that this work is inspiring and fueling to not only your audience but also yourself. THIS is brand + content strategy, THIS is client experience, and all together allows for connection!
THIS is my expertise!
So in a nutshell, I help brands dive deep into the why behind their business and use that to create goals around how their community or client receives their services or products. When it comes to creating these strategies, visual storytelling and client experience is what it boils down. How do you draw people in with your content? How are you creating community and connection? What ultimately makes them feel like they need YOU or your product in their life? And what keeps them coming back? This can look like content strategy, launching products/brands, retreat/conference planning, and custom client experiences. This is where we start!
What does this mean for TCC?
This means we are no longer taking on weddings! We will also no longer take on events unless they are business or brand focused for our clients. We currently have a waitlist open for clients looking to expand their brands! We’ve had time to truly dig in deep with our personal and team strengths and we know that it is helping people push forward, giving knowledge of all things we’ve learned over the years and lastly, being committed to making long term working relationships that produce results. And while weddings fueled some much creativity and fun, I know that my calling is to bring other brands along to get to sustainable growth and loving what you do whole-heartedly.
